G2 is closer to the cathode than the anode, but has less surface. The result is interesting. Equally interetsing is to use a high value screengrid resistor and re-run the triode curves.
Finally, you do realise that commonly published tube curves tend to contain a good deal of "pen damping" and "sample averaging".

Yup. Plot screen impedance vs. signal and anode impedance vs signal.
All of this is of course merely of academic interrest to me. The curve modification is not large and common pentodes and tetrodes trioded that way remain much more non-linear than suitable DHT's designed for low distortion audio.
HOWEVER, it should be noted that merely placing the screengrid 30V below the anode does not really help with limiting the voltage on the screengrid in cases where Va is much more than the screengrid limit and that was my main point.
