A friend who used to design and sell hi end guitar amplifiers came over to visit last night and after seeing my system rega p3,bugle phono,foreplay 2 pre amp ,dynaco st-70,polk sda 1c speakers.He said that if all i listen to is vinly that i dont need the foreplay in the chain just run the amp into the phono with a pot between the amp and phono stage,i am seeking opinions of any one doing this or if it even possible.Thanks in advance Troy
