That doesn't sound too bad. I like the idea of Cannon XLR connectors, but I want to use 4 pin or something just so that I can't accidentally plug 300V into a mic preamp or something :)So for grounding, you are suggesting star grounding each chassis to the ground on the umbilical and then collecting the umbilical grounds in a single poit at the power supply? That seems logical.
