You'll save a lot of money and get great sound by using 7N7 (or round plate 7AF7) instead of 6SN7, and 7C5 instead of 6V6. Same tubes - loctal base. You'll save even more money if you use the 12 volt versions 14N7/14AF7 and 14C5. I've built with these, like Jimmy has, and results are superb. I agree with other posters in leaving the 6922 to one side - bland and uninteresting tube, never liked it.
