Driver tube has a big influence on final sound. Pick another tube, 12B4, or what Jimmy suggested. Very best place for the 6DJ8 family is in non-audio equipment. The 6DJ8 series ( when run under 15 mills ) are not very good audio tubes - so avoid them.Jeff Medwin
