Run a ground bus wire. Connect the power supply common (negative) at one end & ground the bus to chassis at the other end by the signal input jack.Never connect the amplifier signal tubes transformer filament center tap to the ground bus. Connect it to the chassis by the transformer. Note: I am not including a common rectifier tube filament center tap winding as stated above which is the B+ (high voltage positive) for 5U4, 5R4, etc non-cathode type rectifier tubes.
Connect the ground wire on the AC power input cord by the transformer as well.
I never has a ground loop or hum issue yet.
