Ray,Thanks, it is straight out of RDH4. I just looked it up and I am impressed with the comments. Their blurb,
"The frequency response is flat from 30 to 20 000 c/s, the average noise is 87dB down from the +24 dBm level and the distortion is 0.55% at the 24 dBm level."
If I do my decibel math right, and that is always questionable, that would put the noise voltage on the output at around 0.5mV. Flat frequency response would of course depend on those hard to find, or at least expensive, input and output transformers.
Do you think the input transformer is 1:10+10 or 1:5+5? They don't mention it in RDH and I find it ambiguous in the schematic I linked. Ditto the output. Any suggestions for these?
