I once salvaged boxes full of vintage PIO caps that were being discarded. Included were a bunch of Micamold with ceramic bodies. Cool! I said to myself, but the first one I tried was electrically leaky. I cobbled together the test setup you described and found that all the Micamolds were very leaky. Not sure why.OTOH, a LOT of the old Vitamin Q's that I've seen were leaking oil like a vintage Harley. I still use em if they're just a little sticky. :-)
