I will tell you that triode hookup has made a believer out of me.I use all my amps in biamp with my martin logans,125cps on up on the panels and of course 150cps on down thru the sub so there is a bit of overlap but nbd..I have a real fast sub that matches the stats but at times I use a pair of AR1 bass cabinets thru an audio research ec21 crossover on a solid state bass amp.The sub tho is seamless being its made by martin logan and it has very special woofers in it..What it does tho is allow me to get away with using like 20 watts to fire the panels being the bass is handled by solid state amps which normally would rob a lot of the power in single amp configuration.
