Home Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Well, there's your answer.

Everybody below going, "Cheaper, cheaper!"

I sell commercially a line preamp for $1500 that you yourself can build for ~$200 in parts, including a Bud Box.

Am I making a killing?  @#$%! no!  The thing is built in a chassis, that for $1K retail value, pays me a bare workingman's wage to build.  DIY guys don't G A S about this; they proudly display their non-breadboard circuit, with thousands of clip leads all over the living room floor.  Guys like me need a distinctive and well executed chassis if we're selling to S O, if indirectly.

You should be talking to me about this, or Ryan Tew (Red Dragon Audio), etc.

Post me privately, let's haggle.

Aloha,

Poinz
