Hi.ALL my DIY custom design-built interconnects & power cords are 4N pure silver solid conductors in PTFE Teflon tubing, NO shield.
Teflon may not be the best dielectric (with dielectric constant e=2, higher than foamed PE e=1.55), being third relative to free air.
But Teflon is readily & cheaply avaiable. It is easy to handle with thin wirs.
Natural material, like cotton yarns used as wire insulation is good according to some golden ears.
But for silver which should be kept air-tight to prevent oxidation & tarnish by the air, it seems to me Teflon is the only viable choice for signal cable.
PROPERLY treated pure silvers do deliver "fast, transparent & open sound". This is my hands-on experience. I used oxygen-free pure copper wires for my ICs & power cords before. I won't want to look back after I've switched to silver years back.
