Home Tube DIY Asylum

Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

Low is a relative term

A grid choke will already have a DCR of a few thousand ohms (probably.) This is small compared to the few hundred thousand ohms of an ordinary grid resistor. Even if you add another few thousand ohms in the bias supply you're still looking at a relatively low DC path.

If you want to reduce the DC resistance of the supply you could use a choke input supply (with hefty bleed current as Henry suggested) and a variac before the bias transformer. Then you would have only the DCR of the transformer and supply choke(s) which could easily be under a hundred ohms without going to heroic measures.
