Oh yes Michael, and they sound WONDERFUL due to low ohmic resistance that the grid obtains as a path to ground.It "centers" the operation of the triode stage, and by centering, I mean that the grid is of paramount importance in a triode tube, and it must be treated with exterme care, so that the GRID is in maximum control, not offset by high resistances to ground, particularly with low mu triodes in the output stage. In that application, a grid choke of PROPER design ( see Magnequest's BCP-16 ni ) will get you closer to the music than ANY resistor solution.
