Re: 811A push pull triodeamp

Thanks for all answers ! Can anyone help with a schematic or part of a schematic ? Is it possible to paralellcouple the two triodes in a 6SN7 and make a Consertinasplitter and drive the pair of 811A tubes direct ? Or shall I use a EL34 or 6V6 tube connected to an intermediumtransformer to drive the powertriodes ? I have two 2C22 tubes also. Can I make a long tail pair of them and drive the powertriodes ? And how can I get +5V on the grids at the same time ? (I have tested the 811A tubes with 400V and 0V on the grids but they only let through about 1 mA current. I understand that if I choose 0V on the grid makes it neccessary with -5V at the cathode. Thanks for more advice. Regards Stewen
