Dear Red,For ages I have run my 300B's @ 80mA without problems. Untill I discovered I liked it better with 65mA. That was of course before I found out that there was a subjective relationship between the efficiency of the speakers used and the current. With low eff, speakers I like a lower current.
Depending on plate voltage the current can be quite high with the 300B, just don't exceed the max, plate voltage and wattage.
