I think this will work well... and my guess is that the high frequency response will be a little better if the resistor is connected to the plate, and the choke to the power supply end. But try both ways - series components can be swapped but... that doesn't account for the parasitic components / couplings that AREN'T on the schematic. And they're the ones that always bite ya...
