Hi Jeff! I agree with the forum that everything is the whole amp. But I would like to put things into perspective: Here are the percentages one might weigh-in as to importance:
(1) LAYOUT & chassis design-- 45%!!!!!
(2) Internal wiring and LAYOUT-- 15%.
(3) Power Supply design and LAYOUT--15%.
(4) Correct operation of the right tubes or transistors-- 8%.(5) Elimination of all signal-path parts-- 7%.
(6) Capacitor and resistor quality-- 6%.
(7) Output transformer-- 4%. Now, you got it.Jeff Medwin
