NC, do you mean between the bottom of the current set resistor and the plate?The bottom of the current set resistor is connected to the plate. There is a "grid stop" resistor between the gate and the bottom of the current set resistor.
I sitting here trying to think just what you are suggesting would do and why it would change the sound. Do you know? Can you tell me?
