Lynn uses differential (or to put it simple, push-pull) driver stages. These circuits reject common mode, so if the filaments are fed from the same supply, much of the supply noise will be cancelled. This approach will effectively suppress supply fundamental (120 Hz) and its lower harmonics. Some high frequency noise may go through because filaments and wiring of the two tubes are not exactly the same.
