In theory the thing should scale with mains frequency.I wouldn't place too much stock in that guideline. Intuitively, the tuning frequency would seem to "want" to be somewhat above the second harmonic of the powerline frequency. But as I've shown, the input section is not resonant in the classic sense, and there is more going on than just frequency selection.
Hopefully, my observations will give people ideas for things to look for, but you shouldn't take them as any kind of rigid rules.
