Hi,
I implemented a VR tube screen regulator on my SV83 driver circuit, based on some replies to my questions earlier this week.I also decided to try out battery bias and soldered together 2 cells for 3V.
All my voltages seem to measure out okay, except the plate voltage which doesn't seem to drop at all from B+. Also, my tube amp now makes no music :). I know the output tubes work, .. and by adjusting the hum pot, can get them to hum but i wonder what i've done to my driver circuit.cathode voltage 3V
screen voltage 153V
plate voltage = B+ = 295V ?????Thanks for any advice.

- Sorry I should realized that was a driver so the 7.5k is normal. - MIchael Samra 00:06:23 10/17/06 (0)
