Well, probably one of the best loctals you could use would be the 3B7. That's a common cathode twin DHT, mu of 20 - curves look nice. You'll need a good current source like a Ronan Reg. And all the usual DHT caveats apply - probably microphonic etc.I haven't tried this yet but have a couple and am about to give it a whirl. Andy
