Note this is a hard one: you always pay for NFB. You purchase something with something. All the feedback tricks for lower output impedance: either Cathode FB, or anode follower FB, or the most severe Unity i.e. cathode follower FB requires the driving input voltage swing to go up.When you are already in the position with an 845 of having +/-150V input swing this is normally not a happy thing. The price hear is having to trade your nice dht 47 driver for a non dht 12GN7, or maybe a SV83 6P14 driver. so tricky business. I truly understand you desire for lower output impedance. To me it makes a big difference: but this is the sET world:1.6ohms is considered good.
There are tranny tricks for the cathode FB winding. I think Electroprint will make custom at not too many dollars. there is Plitron.Special I think Lundahl has one or two etc not easy this question.
