Edcor makes a few interstage transformers that are under $50 (about $35, actually). The EX-101 has PP input and PP output windings with selectable ratios of 1:1 to 1:2.5. It's output winding is center tapped - some manufactuers have two seperate secondaries, allowing you to apply seperate bias voltages to each of the driven tubes.The biggest problem with the EX-101 is the input voltage limit of 7 VRMS, making it rather useless in triode output tube applications (45, 2A3, 300B) where large drive voltages are required.
