Re: pre-amp output transformer

61.90.155.15

My pre-amp was built like this(no picture)
--input signal was attenuated by shunt volume then the sinal go to the grid of 6sn7
--the B+ is 405V and after pass the plate resister(47K)the voltage was drop to 231 V
--biasing was made by rechargable battery 9 V at the cathode
--the C coupling is russia teflon value 0.2uf bicap with oil siemens 0.1uF
I have tried changing many coupling caps and finally want to change to transformer coupling(which i have to drop the B+)but do not know much about the transformer to use with this 6sn7 tube.
I am now using this pre-amp with my Krell KSA 100 mkII.
