To me there is no question that a PS with low DCR will be better in a single ended circuit. The lower the DCR the better the voltage regulation as long as critical inductance is meet and the supply is acting as choke input. Do watch out for PS ringing with low DCR.A single ended output stage draws large, constantly changing, current.
