Actually I am 40 TODAY

I am now officially over the hill, although I have heard that 40 is the new 20.

I have listened to tubes all my life. Our family music was played through a RCA Victrolla. I deviated in the early 80's to a Fischer rack with a cutting edge device called a 'CD player' but returned with a Scott reciever when I was 18. I have owned some solid state gear over the years including Audiolab, Threshold, Krell, Adcom and Creek but these were all short lived and never really replaced my tubed gear.
