The smoke came from under the chassis, not from the tube.By the way...the amp is from an American whose amps are held in High Regard.I simply was probably anxious tonight, and did not "look" at what I was doing.I will call him Wednesday. I simply wanted some general opinion's while waiting for his solution.Thanks
