Anybody have a trick for knocking out the hole in the end bell of a Hammond tranny without taking the transformer (choked in this case) apart. I don't want to crack the varnish as this is a power supply choke and subject to buzz. Obviouisly I don't want to butcher up the end bell either.I hate those silly knockouts but since my choke will be inside the chassis, I could actually use the side hole.
Alternative is just mount the choke on top of 1/4-20 nuts used as spacers!
