I've used those 25A bridges like the one depicted in 12V (up to 15 or so amps) DC supplies for ham radio gear, testing, etc, the case is indeed isolated from the bridge. For high current use, some silicon heat-sink "goo" between the bridge's body and the chassis is a good idea.
