"sorry henry for making you sic (sic)"Do you mean by using the word "irregardless"? The word always bugged me too, but it seems to have shown up in Webster's, so I can't bitch about it anymore. The other one that bugs me is 'dampening' oscillations. We don't dampen oscillations unless we want to make them wet! Usually what we want to do is *damp* them. Unfortunately, at some point Webster's decided that the use of 'dampen' is OK. I hate those guys.
