Ok here goes I would like some help with a strange idea I have. I would like to build a stereo PP amp with triode switching and....get this....a 6v6 and an el84 as the pair for each side. Dis-similar pair ? It needs to be VERY simple with a VERY low componet count ohh and VERY quiet. I want to use it for a guitar amp for studio use.
I have heard of this being do-able and as having a wonderful tone for guitar, It will always be pre-amp driven so input stage can be very simple any thoughts?
