Tre',Perhaps it is a philospical question? It seems to me that one needs to know what problem one is trying to solve before embarking on an attempted solution. Why spend money, time, and effort working on, say, the power supply when whatever is troubling you is caused by something completely different. The power supply may be optimal for the current application. Any change will only make it worse.
