nomex or kraft. Mike told me that most wanted kraft paper. (I asked for kraft as well) Doc. B. chose nomex.
Diyhifisupply output transformers I have also use paper. According to Brian Cherry it gave the sound he wanted.
So I suppose the fact of the matter is that insulation matters and that technical specs can't always predict what will sound better.
