Input jack's center signal-in terminal to 47K. Other end of 47K to top of pot & signal wire to driver board. Pot wiper & lower end of pot tied together & connected to circut Common. The input jack's OUTER side is also connected to circut Common, so this makes for a convenient place to connect the pot. 47K is about half of 100K is all; your 270K grid leak resistor (not a grid stopper) value is of no matter to this pot connection (the grid leak purpose is to establish grid bias so that the tube will conduct).
