RE: Good reel to reel deck

The X-2000R has always been HIGHLY recommended to me by techs and other people in the know. Trouble is that you won't find one in stellar shape for $400, unless it's a sleeper at an estate sale or whatever....certainly not on ebay. An there was an excellent point previously made about pro studio machines...although you should know someone in the recording/radio business who can help you find a good one, if you wanna go that route.

So as much as I covet the X-2000R, I won't be able to buy one anytime soon.....so I'm gonna pony up the money and have my Tandberg 9200XD fully restored.
