Why are you arguing about powercords????
Everybody knows there's miles and miles of wire all the waaaay back to the powerplant...
(psst...don't tell them that their systems are attempting to reference ground to the wall plate safety ground, or that faraday's law of induction defines the ground loop error, or that single ended systems are very susceptible to ground bounce)..
Heaven forbid some actual engineering be discussed...)
Remember guys....miles and miles of wires...pay no attention to the external magnetic fields that are intercepted...it's all about miles and miles of wires...
