Re: Snip off those anorexic power cords on your tape deck

Hi, Dave:

No offense intended here, but have you been hanging around with Noel Lee these days?

You have to admire a man who made a blasted fortune off of such hyperbole, the majority of such claims being scientifically unproven to this day. The guy is a marketing GENIUS of major porportions. I am also aware that Noel Lee has a history of unleasing his layers to aggressively chase down and harrass any business which tries to utilize the word "Monster" in their advertising. I think I know which side of the issue the MONSTER is on. Hey, nice folks are now quite a rarity, aren't they?

I have never EVER heard any difference attributable to substituting power cords on any audio gear that I ever owned. The only difference perceived **might** be attributable to the provision for a proper grounded connection and proper phase with respect to the power source.

It also really helps to keep the contact surfaces in a wall socket and on the prongs of a plug clean and free of oxidation and corrosion.

But...if it works for you, well....nothing wrong with that, you know.

Need any special mpingo wooden objects to place in your room for better sound?

I guess I better quit while I am at this!
