I had a HK 4600. Bought it new in early 90s. Great deck in its time. I then got a sony es deck in 2002. That was better or just as good. I then moved up to a Tandberg 3014a. Makes mirror copies if adjusted properly for tape. Back to the HK. I new it made good copies but since it was a 2 head model I could not verify. It did have solid electronics. To have permission to use dolby s it had to pass some criteria. It did not give a minute of trouble.
