I also read somewhere that the reason most used TDK SA for the type II setting is that other than BASF a true CRO2 TDK is the closest to the 0 reference that any other "Cobalt Dope'd" high bias tape.Don't know if this is true or not but i do remember reading it somewhere.Peace.
