I WAS an awesome score. The machine functions flawlessly and sounds wonderful both on my old self-recorded tapes, vintage pre-recorded tapes from the 50's and 60's, and on tapes recorded on this machine at 15ips. I've been running it through its paces for the past three weeks, listening and also digitizing old tapes for archival purposes. If you look on eBay, I'm sure you can find one, but probably not so cheap. I was fortunate in that the seller did not know the machine's worth, and in that it was a local pickup. I was also fortunate to win the bid, as there was a bit of a bidding war towards the end of the auction.
Keep in mind, this is the 4-track version, not the standard 5050. It's much more versatile.
