Hi! Total novice fright question: I bought a Sony TC-366 earlier today. Came home and tried to see if it was working. DidnÂ´t know you had to have a tape for the reels to start rolling. So I jerked that handle and of course nothing happened. Then someting did. The handle that when I started jerking stopped in the various positions (ff, rew, play), started to jump right back to "stop".
Did I destroy my new reel to reel? Will be getting some tapes soon...
