$17,337 (at current exchange rate) for that?! Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice tape deck, but it ain't $17K worth of deck. Until it comes down to maybe $2,500, I'll be very happy with my near-mint A77 MK IV, which I bought new in '78 or '79 for a dealer +10% price of about $900, and which shares much of the same physical and electronic design as the B77.
On the other hand, the U.S. Dollar is in the dumper as compared to the Euro. Other countries have a much more favorable exchange rate and so 15,950 Euros might be relatively reasonable.
