Just fyi, nearly all of my tapes are half track 15 ips, but I have a few old tapes which are quarter track 7-1/2 ips, so this 4 channel deck is my 'gateway' to being able to play/transcribe them. The deck has been sitting here for several years, and I've finally got the itch to get it working. It's a very nice deck, one of the better ones which Teac/Tascam made, and it has the dbx module (I'm not a fan of dbx).

I know about tapeheads.net, and will check there. If I can clear a space on my workbench, I just might open it up myself (that could be 'dangerous').
