Bobbo..Thanks for the response..I'm certainly no "wiz" but am careful and determined.. My local fixit shop sends em off and has $60 minimum says probably $150...Kicker is it plays and runs perfect but the motor noise is obnoxious..This deck is part of my search for replacement for C3RX..Nak 3 head was 1st try and playback was not crisp nor agile..This 122 sounds like it should and with my tapes recorded on teac the Tascam is FAR superior. Plan to keep it..Will contact teac.com and get on it....Thanks.. Does your repair guy do mail order? D
