great. No more bothersome and untoward sounds in any mode.Had to create the thin nylon washer under the c-clip on the rewind idler owning to the original was destroyed/broken. It's amazing what you can do with an Exacto knife and some spare sheets of plastic.
The Sony buffed up nicely and now purrs like a happy cat.
Now, thinking about adding some "grain-o-wheat" bulbs to the meters for a nicer look...
