For most of my career, I've been doing Java work. I'm now working on a large J2EE project for Kaplan - the company often associated with courses to help kids get into college, etc.My work never really touches the users, I'm a layer behind the UI or at the persistence level. I love Java and hate Microsoft like most Linux-y geeks, but I really like some aspects of the C# language - so that is why I proposed doing it in C#. I've spent time with C, C++, and while I worked at NeXT, Objective-C
