I didn't have any problems when I installed it, but I must have been careful to un-check all the boxes.
Realnetworks got hit with a big fine for doing this kind of thing. It was their bad luck that a lawyer was stung by the pre-checked repeat billing option in a software installation. Sooner or later, someone is going to be annoyed enough by opt-out installers like OpenCandy to sue for the costs of removing cr@pware.
