I just read Dave's reply & I was just going to let it go, but reading it again, I have this uneasy anger rising within me again b/c his response frankly makes me look bad, like I was just working up a problem in my head on my own.

I did have the conversation w/ Dave & he clarified a lot for me. I don't believe he's a bad guy, and never have. But it doesn't change the fact that I was fed a lie: saying that a player was already sent on 3/3, which wasn't. Dave says he couldn't find the original packaging, etc., which is fine. If he told me this, I would have accepted that, even if I was disappointed. But he emailed me saying it was shipped on 3/3, and that I should have it in a day. It was a lie, no matter how one tries to justify it. Then he cut off all contact with me afterward, leading me to believe that he was bailing on me. Dave says he did not get back to me in timely manner, but the fact is, he did not get back to me AT ALL. He did apologize for avoiding me during our conversation & I give him credit for owning up to that.

The fact is I did everything that I could, honestly, as a customer & kept my end of the bargain. Paid right on time, and was patient in the past 3 months. (First of all, no one should wait 3 months for an amp & a CDP, no matter how convoluted the situation.) That same consideration was not returned. He did promise a full refund, and after talking to him about his personal situation, I do understand to a degree, although not completely, as he did not meet his obligations toward me. I look forward to a swift resolution to this, as I know Dave does, too. I can attest to the fact that he is a good guy at heart & I believed him when he told me, during our phone conversation, that he wasn't going to screw me over.
