27/08/2005. Same thing happened to me. I had a Nigerian buyer who wanted to buy my phone which I had advertised on Ebay. He was offering me £185GB, same phones currently selling for £60GB. Knew it was a scam from the start but had lots of fun with emails till I got board. His English was very poor and the confirmation emails from Bidpay were in pigeon English as well, surprise, surprise. In his efforts to persuade me he clamed he was in Manchester, UK. I sent email back saying I am in Manchester next week, I can bring phone to him. No more heard.
